How to find a great catfishing forum

Finding a great catfishing forum doesn’t occur by accident. You have to test out the waters so to speak. The first few I found, I have to say I wasn’t impressed by at all. They seemed to be nothing but a place for complaints or for selling various items. I wanted to be able to talk to people that were as passionate about catfishing as I was.

What that experience taught me though is that not all of those forums are the same. You have to find what works very well for you. First, I want to point out that any such forum should be free. There is no point in paying for access so don’t do it, even if the cost is minimal. Those that charge members try to act as if they are elite and they are going to offer you some hidden secrets about catfishing.

The truth though is that they are making money without any effort by offering something that people can get for free. They have given the belief that something that is free can’t be worth real value. Hopefully, you haven’t already paid to join any catfishing forum because you won’t get your money’s worth from it.

Lots of Members

In order to be able to look around at a catfishing forum, you will need to create an account. It only takes a second to enter a username and password so you can gain access. From there you want to find out how many members it has. My experience has been forums with lots of members offer you plenty of information.

How is the overall navigation of the system? You should be able to see different areas such as where to ask questions, chat rooms, various threads, and more. It should all be broken down into sections so that any user of the forum is able to find information quickly.

Spend some time reading information to see what is offered. If you find lots of complaining, subjects that have nothing at all to do with catfishing, or lots of advertising then you are at the wrong catfishing forum. You want to go sign up for another one and check it out.

If you do like what you read though, then it could be a good place for you to hang out. Consider posting a few questions and see what the responses are. There are usually plenty of great people on catfishing forums that would love to share their wisdom and experience to help you out.

What makes a really good catfishing forum though is the sharing of quality information. Don’t be taking what you can and giving nothing back. Make sure you share your own fishing stories. When someone asks questions that you know the answers to, take a few minutes to post an answer to them. They will certainly appreciate it!
